Circular Economy Transition is a pioneer initiative that aims at accelerating the transition of Switzerland to a Circular Economy. It currently takes place in 5 Swiss cities - Basel, Bern, Geneva, Lausanne, and Zurich.

In close collaboration with Impact Hub Switzerland, sanu durabilitas and with the support of the MAVA foundation, this initiative will contribute to drive the new paradigm for the future of business, policy making and society through 4 main pillars: 

• An incubator for circular projects and startups 

• A Business Lab for corporates and SMEs 

• Community events for the general public

• Research and policy recommendation for the transition to a circular economy 

In this one hour session the Swiss Impact Hubs will present their initiative and the links between the Circular Economy and the Zero waste frameworks as well as learnings and challenges of setting up a national initiative that aims at accelerating the transition to a more sustainable economy through a multi-stakeholder approach. Finally, some inspiring circular examples from their activities in the last 2 years will be shared and the public will be able to engage and ask questions.
