About the event

This event focuses on fostering collaborative relationships in the regional textile ecosystem. Who are the regional fiber & textile producers?

  • Which designers and brands are producing in Switzerland?

  • What role can upcycling, rental and repair play and how can take-back systems be designed?

  • Where are there gaps and obstacles, and what are the opportunities?

  • How can we connect the pieces of the puzzle to build a thriving, regional and circular textile economy?

Be inspired by creative entrepreneurs who are pioneering the shift to regional sourcing and production. Join the interactive discussion on the role this shift can play in closing the textile loop and reducing the industry's carbon footprint while fostering creativity, innovation and economic resilience.

We aim to engage textile and fashion experts, SMEs and the academic community in Switzerland in actively discussing and envisioning a regional circular economy in textiles, fostering a strong network. We look forward to your insights and inspirations.

This event is part of the Circular Economy Transition Initiative and is organized by Impact Hub Bern. It is the second of three events on the topic of circular economy in the textile and fashion industry.
